Islamabad: ASP Shehar Bano has been appointed as the Personal Security Officer (PSO) to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, Shehar Bano Naqvi will serve as the PSO to Mohsin Naqvi. Previously, Shehar Bano, who is in grade 17, was posted as AD OFC Islamabad.
Shehar Bano Naqvi has previously worked as an Assistant Director in the Intelligence Bureau. She passed the CSS exam in 2019 and began her career in public management.
The notification also states that ASP Shah Rukh Khan has been appointed as the Assistant Chief Security Officer to the Interior Minister.
It is noteworthy that in February 2024, Shehar Bano Naqvi played a courageous role in safely rescuing a woman from an angry mob in Lahore. Her efforts were commended by Army Chief General Asim Munir during a meeting with her.
