Rotterdam: A 3-year-old girl who went missing in the Netherlands was shopping at a nearby supermarket, police said.
According to media reports, the incident occurred in the Dutch city of Zevenhuizen, and the disappearance of a 3-year-old girl caused widespread panic in the local area. However, a few hours later, he was shopping for groceries at a nearby supermarket.
Local police shared the story on Instagram, saying the girl’s parents called the police station in a panic to report her missing on Sunday evening. Police said the family managed to get out of the house unnoticed.
Police officers immediately started a search operation with the help of local residents. Upon investigation, Jumbo Supermarket contacted the police to report a ‘suspicious customer’ who was shopping.
When the police arrived, the ‘suspicious customer’ turned out to be the missing woman. Police said she was shopping for groceries and placed the items in a small shopping cart. Fortunately, the police were able to reunite the girl with her parents in good condition.
