Islamabad IG Ali Naser Rezvi has announced a 100% increase in the medical allowance for federal police officers and officials.
According to the notification issued by the IG, the medical allowance for Islamabad police has been increased from Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 500,000. A committee headed by the DIG headquarters has also been formed for the payment of treatment expenses to officers and officials.
The DIG headquarters committee will be chaired by the DIG, while the Additional IG and Development Secretary will also be members of the committee. In addition to the Incharge Police Line Dispensary, SSPs and Additional IGs of the respective divisions will also be members of the committee.

A body temperature of more than 40.6 degrees Celsius can be considered heat stroke, but studies have shown that heat stroke can be prevented by adopting simple precautionary measures.
Early diagnosis of heat stroke and any reduction in body temperature can reduce the chances of death. According to experts, children, elderly people, athletes, and outdoor workers are at higher risk of heat stroke.
Generally, heat stroke victims experience profuse sweating or severe red or dry skin due to extreme heat, but they do not sweat. In addition, weakness, fatigue, headache, dizziness, and blurred vision are symptoms of heat stroke.
