A three-day free eye surgery camp was organized by Pakistan Army and Selani Welfare Trust at Tehsil General Hospital, Ferozewala.
The goal of the free eye camp in Ferozewala and the surrounding villages is to provide regular eye care to the residents. Overall, a large number of patients were examined in this eye camp and many patients were also given free surgery.
Free eye camps are organized in collaboration with the Selani Welfare International Trust and the local government, where lenses and medicines are also provided to patients. Several doctors and para-medical staff provided free medical services to hundreds of patients from morning to evening.
Doctors include eye specialists from CMH Lahore and Selani Welfare Trust. Advanced equipment is used for eye examination and surgery for cataract patients. In addition, lectures on eye diseases and general health are given to the local population.
Hundreds of people from rural areas have benefited from the Free Eye Camp and the local people appreciate the social welfare efforts of the Pakistan Army. People thanked Selani Welfare International Trust and Pakistan Army for their services.
