Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha modeled her 44-year-old mother’s saree on her biggest day.
A small wedding ceremony was held at Sonakshi Sinha’s home on June 23, which was attended by special friends including the actress’ parents, but her relatives did not attend her sister’s wedding.
According to Indian media, Sonakshi Sinha chose her 44-year-old mother’s white Zeb Tan gown for the wedding ceremony. Not only that, the actress chose to wear her mother’s old diamond jewelry with a yellow one.
Groom Zaher Iqbal also walked with his bride in a white sherwa instead of an expensive one.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple held a reception (valima) at a local restaurant in Sukabumi, which was attended by celebrities from Bollywood and other fields.
At the reception, Sonakshi Sinha wore a red Banarasi saree from Zeb Tan and made it all worth it.
According to Indian media, Sonakshi Sinha’s saree is just INR 79,800.
