New Delhi: Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi referred to the Quran and recited the Durood during his speech in Parliament.
When Rahul Gandhi spoke in the Lok Sabha on non-violence and peace, he referred to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), recited the Durood and emphasized that all great figures in history advocated non-violence and the elimination of fear, stating that one should not be afraid.
The opposition leader strongly criticized the BJP and Hindu extremist parties and accused BJP leaders of spreading hatred, fear and violence. He said these people claim to be Hindu leaders but at the same time promote hatred and violence which is not what being a Hindu is about.
During Rahul Gandhi’s speech, BJP members created a ruckus in Parliament and accused him of blaming the entire Hindu community for the violence. BJP leaders also demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
