During a concert, Indian playback singer Monali Thakur stopped the show after someone made an inappropriate remark.
According to Indian media, the incident took place at a concert organized by Monali at a local university in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Reports say that apart from the students, there were other participants in the concert and one of the audience members made obscene comments during Monali’s performance.
Hearing inappropriate words, Monali stopped the concert and expressed her strong displeasure to the man. He rushed down the stage.
After the usual hiatus, Monali returned to the concert and continued her performance. According to Indian media, the incident took place on June 29.
Monali Thakur is a popular Indian singer, National Film Award winner and has sung in several Bollywood films including ‘Dhol Baaje’, ‘Cham Cham’ and others.
