According to Indian media, a four-member team of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch visited Salman Khan’s house on June 4 and recorded the statement of his brother Arbaaz Khan. Both brothers were interrogated for about five hours.
Police said Salman Khan’s statement was recorded for three hours, while his brother Arbaaz Khan was interrogated for two hours. All in all, the brothers and sisters were asked more than 150 questions.
Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, was also present during the shoot, but his words were not recorded due to his advanced age. Police said they could record the Crime Branch’s statement if required.
In a police statement, Salman Khan said that he was at his place at the time of the shooting on April 14.
The actor said that when the attackers opened fire on his residence, he heard shots being fired from the balcony. He woke up and went to the balcony to check, but he didn’t see anyone.
In his statement, the superstar said the shooting incident was life-threatening.
It should be remembered that on April 14 at 5 am, two armed motorcycle riders fired three shots at Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in the Bandra area of Sukabumi, then fled.
Police later nabbed the suspect with the help of CCTV footage. During investigation, the suspects informed the police that Lawrence Bishnoi had promised Rs 400,000 to set Salman Khan’s house on fire.
