After defeating England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup, Indian captain Rohit Sharma took back the honor from Babar Azam and became the most successful captain in T20 Internationals with 49 wins.
Rohit Sharma also extended his winning streak to 11 consecutive matches.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma surpassed Pakistan’s Babar Azam’s feat in the match against Australia as the highest run-scorer in T20 Internationals.
Rohit Sharma is the first batsman to score 4,222 runs in 150 T20 International innings, followed by Babar Azam with 4,145 runs in 116 innings.
