Stirling: In Scotland, a diabetic patient saved both legs thanks to ground-breaking microwave technology.
Barry Mild, 74, has type 2 diabetes and noticed his legs getting steadily worse during the COVID-19 pandemic until surgeons said there was no solution other than amputation.
The patient, Mr. Mild, said a medical student at the hospital observed his condition and introduced microwave therapy as an option. After nine months of treatment, he is now completely healthy.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Mild developed wounds caused by diabetes, which greatly worsened his condition and led to the need for amputation. In Stirling, however, the ‘Emblishen’ organization used specially prepared Swift microwave technology to successfully treat wounds.
This technology uses low energy microwaves to stimulate the immune system.
