Shweta Tiwari, renowned for her role in the popular Indian drama series “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” has disclosed details about her earnings from the show. According to Indian media reports, the actress, who portrayed the character of Prerna Sharma in the television serial aired in 2001, recently revealed in an interview that she considers current dramas as unrealistic and discussed her remuneration for the series.
She mentioned that when the drama started in 2001, she used to receive a daily wage of 5,000 Indian Rupees, along with annual increments until she left the show. By then, her daily wage had reached up to 2.25 lakh Rupees.
It’s worth noting that Shweta Tiwari is a winner of reality shows such as “Bigg Boss 4,” and has also been part of other programs including “Nach Baliye,” “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,” and “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.”
Additionally, Shweta’s daughter, Palak Tiwari, has also stepped into Bollywood, making her debut in 2023 with Salman Khan’s film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” playing a supporting role.
