Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
According to Indian media, Dinesh Karthik said in a social media post that he is saying goodbye to all forms of cricket and feels lucky to have the opportunity to represent the country.
Dinesh Karthik has represented the Indian team in 26 Tests, 94 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 60 T20 Internationals.
He scored 1,025 runs in 26 Tests, including one century and seven half-centuries. In 94 ODIs, Karthik scored 1752 runs with nine half centuries to his name.
He scored 686 runs in 60 T20 Internationals, including a half century. Apart from this, the wicketkeeper-batsman also represents Royal Challenger Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
