Students’ art exhibition held at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan

Mardan : A grand exhibition showcasing students’ creative work was organised by the Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

The exhibition featured artworks created by students from various disciplines, including textile design, interior design, fashion design, and photography. A large number of students, faculty members, and guests attended the event.

Javed Khan Marwat, Commissioner Mardan, attended the exhibition as the chief guest. Also present on the occasion were Dr Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, and Masood Khan Bangash, District Police Officer Mardan.

The guests were welcomed by Fazal Sattar, Principal of Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts, along with Dr Tariq Mahmood, Director AURC, and Farhad Safi, Director Administration.

The distinguished guests visited different sections of the exhibition, took keen interest in the displayed artwork, and appreciated the creativity and skill of the students.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Mardan Javed Khan Marwat praised the students’ artwork and said that the creative abilities of the youth were highly encouraging. He added that such academic and creative activities play an important role in the professional development and training of students.

Later, Dr Jamil Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, distributed commemorative shields among the guests. A tree plantation activity was also carried out in collaboration with the university administration to promote environmental awareness.
