Attock — Newly elected Member of the Punjab Bar Council, Sardar Tauseef Ahmed Khan, has said that the lawyers’ fraternity of the inter-provincial bordering district of Attock has made significant sacrifices to ensure the administration of justice and the protection of citizens’ fundamental rights.
Speaking to the media after a meeting with tax and corporate law consultants at his chamber on Tuesday, Sardar Tauseef Ahmed Khan said lawyers in Attock have consistently contributed to upholding constitutional principles and safeguarding rights guaranteed under the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.

The meeting was attended by senior legal practitioners, including Inayatullah Khan, Advocate, and Qazi Muhammad Shoaib, Advocate, where professional and legal matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Highlighting the historical role of the legal profession, Sardar Tauseef Ahmed Khan recalled that Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and Liaquat Ali Khan were also lawyers who played a decisive role in leading the nation and laying the foundations of Pakistan through unity, discipline, and vision.
Responding to questions, the Punjab Bar Council member said he and his team are actively working to protect the rights of lawyers at all forums. He added that efforts are also underway to develop practical proposals aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions and welfare of lawyers in Attock, in line with initiatives in other parts of Punjab.
Sardar Tauseef Ahmed Khan reaffirmed his commitment to serving the legal community, stating that his office remains open to fellow lawyers for guidance, support, and collective action whenever required.
