Abbottabad: The Al‑Khidmat Foundation Abbottabad raised more than Rs 40 million in donations during a fundraising charity dinner attended by local residents, dignitaries, and senior officials.
Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Akram was the chief guest at the event, which saw contributions in both cash and property pledged for welfare projects. The gathering was attended by President Al‑Khidmat Foundation Hazara Ghazan Iqbal, Patron Abidur Rehman Abbasi, members of the Estate Agents Association, businessmen, and retired senior military officers.
On the occasion, President Al‑Khidmat Foundation Islamabad Muhammad Tanveer Malik expressed gratitude to donors and participants, acknowledging the support of the Abbottabad chapter. He said the contributions would help sustain welfare initiatives and prayed the efforts would serve as a lasting source of charity.
