SWAT: Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Elite Force Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Ali Khan, visited Swat and chaired an open forum (Darbar) at Javed Iqbal Shaheed Police Lines Kabal to hear concerns of Elite Force personnel.
On arrival, he was presented with a guard of honour by a police contingent. The AIG also visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath, saluted the fallen officers and offered prayers in their memory.
District Police Officer Swat Muhammad Umar Khan, SP Elite Force Fahad Khan, and a large number of officers and personnel from the Malakand Region attended the session.
During the forum, personnel raised professional and welfare-related issues. The AIG listened to their concerns and issued on-the-spot directives to relevant authorities for timely resolution.
Addressing participants, Muhammad Ali Khan said the Elite Force had earned a distinguished reputation through professionalism, courage and sacrifices, particularly in counterterrorism operations and emergency situations. He described the police as a backbone of the state and acknowledged the sacrifices made by personnel in maintaining peace.
He urged officers to uphold discipline, integrity and public service to further strengthen public trust in law enforcement institutions.
The AIG also highlighted efforts to modernize training and enhance operational preparedness to ensure effective response to emerging security challenges.
The event concluded with special prayers for the peace and security of the country and the province.
