Mardan: Regional Police Officer Rabnawaz Khan visited Police Station Shahbaz Garhi to review security arrangements, administrative matters and public service facilities, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen policing in the district.
During the visit, the RPO inspected key sections of the police station, including the lock-up, record room and security points, and issued instructions to improve operational efficiency. He directed police personnel to maintain effective security measures and ensure uninterrupted public service delivery.

Officials said the visit aimed to assess on-ground conditions and reinforce standard procedures to enhance policing performance and public safety.
Law and order review during Ramadan
Later, the RPO chaired a meeting with officers of the Rural Circle at the SP Rural Office, where the overall law and order situation during the holy month of Ramadan was reviewed. Police performance and ongoing security operations were also discussed.
Rabnawaz Khan appreciated the efforts of police personnel, noting that despite increased security challenges during Ramadan, the force ensured the protection of life and property. He described their performance as commendable and encouraging.
Focus on security strategy
The meeting also focused on future security planning, including strengthening action against criminal and extremist elements. Officials emphasized the importance of intelligence-based operations and continued coordination with local communities.
The RPO directed authorities to enhance patrolling in rural areas, maintain surveillance of sensitive locations and ensure timely response to potential threats. He also stressed the need for close public engagement to support effective law enforcement.
