TIMERGARA: Rescue 1122 Lower Dir responded to 131 emergencies over the past week, providing medical assistance and rescue services to 121 injured and ill individuals, according to an official weekly performance report.
The Rescue 1122 Lower Dir report highlights the department’s ongoing role in handling a wide range of emergencies, including medical cases, road accidents and fire incidents, ensuring timely response and support to the public across the district.

Breakdown of emergencies
According to the report, the cases included 50 medical emergencies, 17 road traffic accidents, three fire incidents, two gunshot cases and 10 recovery operations. Rescue teams also attended several other emergency situations during the reporting period.
Officials said rescue personnel provided first aid to many patients on-site, while 49 individuals were shifted to hospitals within and outside the district for further medical treatment.
24/7 emergency response
District Emergency Officer Sanaullah said Rescue 1122 teams remain operational around the clock and are fully prepared to respond to any emergency situation.
He urged the public to immediately call the 1122 helpline in case of emergencies to ensure timely assistance and effective response.
The weekly report reflects the continued efforts of Rescue 1122 in providing emergency services and supporting public safety in Lower Dir.
