MARDAN: A scholarship awareness campaign organised by Maalik Foundation in Mian Kali attracted strong participation from local youth, aiming to inform students about educational opportunities and career pathways.
The initiative focused on guiding young participants on how to access scholarships, develop skills and explore their potential in a competitive academic and professional environment.
Focus on education and skill development
The event was attended by Maalik Foundation officials, including Chairman Dr Junaid, President Syed Sher Shah, General Secretary Fawad Anwar and Senior Vice President Fayazuddin, along with other representatives.
Speakers highlighted the importance of education and skills in today’s job market, encouraging students to take advantage of available scholarship programmes and training opportunities. They emphasised that both academic learning and practical skills are essential for long-term success.
Environmental activity included
In addition to the awareness session, a tree plantation activity was held at the end of the programme. Foundation members and participants jointly planted saplings to promote environmental responsibility and support efforts toward a greener Pakistan.
Organisers said the campaign reflects ongoing efforts to support youth development while also encouraging community engagement and environmental awareness.
