MARDAN — District Police Officer Masood Ahmad addressed a gathering of students and faculty at Abdul Wali Khan University, where departments including Political Science, Journalism, Mass Communication, Education, and Sociology jointly organized a session. A large number of students and teachers attended the event, with the DPO invited as the special guest.
In his remarks, Masood Ahmad warned that drug abuse and digital addiction pose serious threats to the future of the younger generation. He noted that Mardan Police has taken significant steps against drug peddlers in recent months, but emphasized that lasting success requires active participation from youth. He urged students to avoid negative influences and instead focus on education, skill development, and positive use of technology, including online employment opportunities.
The DPO also provided guidance on preparing for the CSS examination, stressing the importance of discipline, hard work, and clear goals. He concluded by expressing confidence that a safe and drug-free society can be achieved through cooperation between law enforcement and the younger generation.
