ISLAMABAD: Direct entry and exit access from the M-1/M-2 Link Road to EIGHTEEN has been opened, improving connectivity to the Islamabad-based residential and commercial development.
The new route is expected to provide a faster and more convenient approach for residents, visitors and businesses travelling from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and nearby motorway corridors.
According to the management of EIGHTEEN, the access was approved by the National Highway Authority, while the Ministry of Communications and the Special Investment Facilitation Council supported the facilitation process.
The project’s management described the new connection as a significant infrastructure milestone that would improve movement to and from the development and support its long-term growth.
Dr Mohamed Mansour, chief executive officer of EIGHTEEN, said the opening reflected coordination between the project and government institutions.
He said stronger road links were important not only for residents and visitors but also for maintaining investor confidence in large-scale developments.
EIGHTEEN also acknowledged the NHA’s technical guidance and the role of the SIFC in supporting investment-related processes.
The mixed-use project is being developed by Ora Developers in partnership with the Saif Group and Kohistan Builders and Developers.
It includes residential, commercial and leisure facilities and is being positioned as an integrated lifestyle destination near Islamabad.
The new access route is expected to improve daily travel while supporting future residential and commercial activity within the project.
