Islamabad, May 19, (People’s Daily) – The documentary “The Moon is Yours” produced by China’s Fudan University was successfully screened at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Pakistan on Monday, marking its first Pakistan and fourth overseas showcase and serving as a highlight of Fudan University’s international student recruitment efforts. The screening event, hosted by Fudan’s School of Journalism, drew enthusiastic participation from more than one hundred Pakistani students and faculty of QAU.

Vice Dean of the School of Journalism of Fudan University, Ms. Xia Tianyi, delivered an introductory speech prior to the screening, providing insights into the film’s creation and themes. The documentary offers an authentic portrayal of the educational journeys and cross-cultural experiences of international students in China. Following the film, Fudan University conducted a comprehensive admissions briefing, outlining academ ic programs and scholarship opportunities available to Pakistani students.
Mr. Salman Ali Bhittani, Lecturer of School of Politics and International Relations of QAU, watched the documentary and raised the screening event a significant milestone for the “Study in China” initiative, demonstrating the power of visual storytelling in fostering educational and cultural ties between China and Pakistan.

22 year-old Pakistani girl Tayyabah, Semester 1 of M Phil Mathematics of QAU, told to People’s Daily that the wonderful film really make the interest among Pakistani youth in pursuing higher education in China rising. “Fudan is one of the most famous and international university of China. Study in China and maker efforts for Pakistan-China cooperation may be the perfect option for Pakistani Students.” Tayyabah added.

According to Fudan University delegation to Pakistan, the documentary “The Moon is Yours” will continue to be screened in National University of Sciences & Technology and Beaconhouse National University in future 2 days to attract more Pakistani students and highlights Fudan’s commitment to nurturing a diverse, global community of future communicators.
