Deputy Chief Engineer of the Sui Gas Department, Ali Bin Irshad, and Senior Engineer Mudassar Noor visited the chamber office and met with Group Leader of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Provincial General Secretary of the Central Organization of Traders, Zahir Shah.
Senior Vice President of the Mardan Chamber, Sahibzada, along with Executive Committee members Aftab Ali, Nasir Khan, and Salam Khan, were also present.
Mardan Chamber highlights low pressure and gas shutdown problems
Zahir Shah briefed the Sui Gas officials on gas-related issues, including low pressure and complete gas shutdown affecting the business community in Mardan and its adjoining areas. He said that prolonged low gas pressure and hours-long load shedding in many areas have created difficulties for people from all walks of life.
Sui Gas officials promise efforts to reduce load shedding
Responding to the concerns, Senior Engineer Mudassar Noor said that although there had been a shortage in gas supply, efforts were now being made to control gas load shedding and low pressure. He assured that every effort would be made to reduce the duration of gas outages.
Joint meeting planned between Mardan Chamber and Sui Gas office
Zahir Shah presented several recommendations to the Sui Gas officials. It was unanimously decided to reduce the duration of load shedding, improve gas pressure, and maintain strong coordination between the Chamber Office and the Sui Gas Office to resolve issues. A joint meeting between officials of the Mardan Chamber and the Sui Gas Office will be convened soon to hold meaningful discussions on important gas-related matters.
