Peshawar Zalmi are pleased to announce the appointment of former Pakistani Test cricketer and experienced coach, Azhar Mehmood, as the team’s Assistant & Bowling Coach for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League, Season 11.
With prior PSL experience and a strong international and domestic background, Azhar Mehmood joins us to strengthen our bowling attack. He has previously served as a coach for the Pakistan national team and is recognized for his extensive knowledge of bowling techniques and game strategy, bringing valuable experience and expertise to the Yellow Storm. His role is expected to enhance the team’s bowling unit and contribute to overall performance in PSL 11.
On the appointment, Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, said:
