Over 40 students receive certificates after IT boot camp in Upper Dir

Upper Dir: More than 40 students received certificates after completing a two-week IT and digital skills boot camp organized in Upper Dir to promote technology education and online earning opportunities for youth.

The training program was arranged on the directive of Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar and concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony at Sajwal IT Hub & Digital Skills Institute in RehanKot, Dir.

The initiative aimed to equip students with practical digital skills so they can effectively use technology alongside their formal education and explore opportunities in the digital economy.

Focus on digital education

Speaking at the ceremony, District Youth Officer Shahzad Tariq said digital skills have become essential in the modern era as they help young people improve their educational performance and enhance career prospects.

He noted that such training programs can empower youth to benefit from online platforms, freelancing opportunities and emerging technology-driven careers.

Guests and future training plans

The ceremony was attended by several guests, including Sajjad Ali Tareen, Luqman Adil and Inamullah Khan.

A question-and-answer session was also held to discuss future training programs and opportunities for youth skill development in the district.

At the end of the event, shields and gifts were presented to the guests and outstanding participants in recognition of their contributions and achievements.
