Lahore — Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani attended the wedding ceremony of the daughter of former federal minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique. The event was marked by the presence of prominent political figures and dignitaries who joined the host family in celebrating the occasion.
Former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan, federal and provincial ministers, members of parliament, and other distinguished personalities were among those in attendance.
During the ceremony, Gilani extended his best wishes to the bride and groom and warmly congratulated Khawaja Saad Rafique and his family. He prayed for the couple’s happiness, love, and a successful married life, noting the importance of such moments in bringing together leaders and communities beyond the political sphere.
The gathering reflected the close ties among Pakistan’s political leadership, with senior figures from across the spectrum sharing in the family celebration.
