Islamabad, 8 January 2026 — Emirates is expanding its Premium Economy service to more destinations worldwide, with Karachi set to join the network from 1 March. The airline confirmed that its retrofitted three-class Boeing 777-200LR will operate daily flights to the city on EK606/607, offering passengers access to its upgraded cabin experience.
The rollout is part of Emirates’ wider plan to deploy its retrofitted Boeing 777s and new A350 aircraft across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, and Australia. By 1 July, Premium Economy will be available on more than 84 routes, reflecting the airline’s investment in consistent service standards across its global operations.
What passengers can expect
Premium Economy offers additional legroom, enhanced seating, upgraded dining, and added amenities. The product has already been introduced on Emirates’ A380s, Boeing 777s, and A350s, with the latest cabin interiors designed to elevate comfort for long-haul travelers. Tickets are available through emirates.com, the Emirates App, travel agents, and Emirates retail outlets.
Global expansion
Alongside Karachi, Emirates will launch Premium Economy in ten other cities, including Addis Ababa, Barcelona, Basra, Cochin, Copenhagen, Mexico City, Rome, Taipei, and Tehran. The airline also plans to expand coverage to more flights in two existing destinations.
Emirates noted that aircraft deployment could begin earlier if refurbishment schedules allow.
