MS DHQ Hospital Timergara reviews emergency preparedness, directs vigilance during Ramadan

TIMERGARA — On the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Provincial Minister for Health Khaliq ur Rehman and Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Muhammad Arif Khan, the Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters/Teaching Hospital Timergara, Dr. Bakht Zada Akhunzada, conducted a detailed inspection of hospital departments to review service delivery and emergency preparedness.

During the visit, the MS inspected the Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine Store, hospital laboratory, reception counter, Bacha Khan OPDs, complaint boxes and OPD counters.

Special emphasis was placed on the availability of emergency medicines and essential medical supplies, the quality of healthcare services, cleanliness standards and staff performance.

Focus on Ramadan emergency readiness

Dr. Bakht Zada Akhunzada directed staff to remain fully alert and professionally vigilant during Iftar and Sehri hours in the holy month of Ramadan to ensure uninterrupted medical services.

He instructed relevant departments to maintain adequate stock of emergency medicines and ensure timely response in case of critical situations.

Hospital officials stated that the inspection aimed to strengthen service delivery, enhance patient care standards and ensure administrative oversight in line with provincial government directives.

The MS reaffirmed the hospital administration’s commitment to providing timely, effective and quality healthcare services to the public.
