By HABIB MUHAMMAD KHATTAK:

LOWER DIR: Al-Khidmat Foundation Lower Dir distributed Eid packages among orphaned boys and girls ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, continuing its annual tradition with the support of local philanthropists.

A ceremony was held at the foundation’s district office in Timergara, where children from different areas of Lower Dir participated along with officials of Al-Khidmat Foundation Lower Dir. The initiative aimed to help orphaned children share in the festivities of Eid.

According to organisers, the Eid packages included various essential items and gifts prepared with contributions from donors. The foundation said the programme is part of its ongoing welfare activities during Ramazan to support vulnerable families.

On the occasion, Orphan Coordinator Faridullah Khan appealed to residents and philanthropists to extend further support. He said more than 600 orphaned boys and girls in the district are still awaiting Eid assistance.

He urged donors to cooperate with the foundation so that additional Eid gifts can be distributed before Eid-ul-Fitr, particularly during the remaining days of Ramazan.

Al-Khidmat Foundation Lower Dir said it will continue efforts to reach more deserving children through community support and charitable contributions.
