Upper Dir: Healthcare services at DHQ Hospital Dir Upper have been expanded following the inauguration of multiple development projects by MNA Sahibzada Sabghatullah and MPA Muhammad Anwar Khan, aimed at improving patient care and reducing referrals to other cities.
Officials said 40 new doctors have been appointed to address staff shortages, enabling timely treatment within the district. The move is expected to ease pressure on hospitals in larger cities such as Peshawar and improve access to healthcare for local residents.

The appointment of female gynecologists for ultrasound services was also highlighted as a key step to improve access for women patients.
