Over 70 students complete office automation course in Upper Dir

UPPER DIR: More than 70 students received certificates after completing a month-long Office Automation Computer Short Course organised by the District Youth Office Dir Upper in collaboration with the district administration.

Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Naveed Akbar directed the District Youth Office to arrange the training programme to help students develop practical computer and office automation skills. Officials said the course was designed to equip participants with tools required to meet the demands of the modern digital environment and improve their employability.

The training focused on hands-on learning, enabling students to enhance productivity, access online opportunities and strengthen their professional capabilities.

The certificate distribution ceremony was held at the London Institute of Professional Studies, Wari. Master Trainer Arshad Ahmad highlighted the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare students for real-world challenges.

District Youth Officer Shahzad Tariq said digital skills are essential for academic and personal growth, adding that computer literacy has become a key requirement for success in today’s competitive environment.

Speakers, including Mr Zishan, thanked the District Youth Office for organising the free training programme. Shields and gifts were also distributed among guests and participants at the conclusion of the ceremony.
