RAWALPINDI, Jan 8 — Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Lahore Garrison, where he received a detailed briefing on operational readiness, training standards, and measures to enhance combat efficiency.
The Army Chief observed a field training exercise featuring modern technologies, underscoring the military’s emphasis on innovation and adaptability to future battlefield requirements. He also inspected sports and recreational facilities available to troops, highlighting their role in maintaining morale, fitness, and overall well-being.
During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir toured the High Care Center at CMH Lahore. He praised the medical staff and administration for establishing a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to meet the needs of service members.
In his remarks, the COAS reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy against threats to national security. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to safeguarding sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability, while promoting discipline, professionalism, and selfless service.
On arrival at Lahore Garrison, the Army Chief was received by Commander Lahore Corps.
