Feb 13, 2026: The Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force, Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, concluded an official visit to Indonesia marked by high-level engagements aimed at enhancing military and aerospace cooperation.
During a meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, both sides discussed strengthening bilateral ties and promoting collaboration in training, air defence and advanced aerospace technologies.
The air chief also held detailed discussions with Indonesia’s defence and air force leadership on joint exercises, professional exchange programmes and technology-driven modernization.
The Indonesian Air Force conferred its highest military decoration, the Medal of Honour, upon the air chief, acknowledging his role in advancing cooperation between the two forces.
Officials said the visit underscores growing defence collaboration and shared interest in modernizing air capabilities through training partnerships and technological exchange.
