AWKUM holds 52nd Syndicate meeting in Mardan

Mardan: The 52nd meeting of the Syndicate of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was held in Mardan, with Vice Chancellor Dr. Jamil Ahmed presiding over the session.

During the meeting, the Syndicate reviewed a range of important administrative, financial, and academic matters. Members discussed various proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the university’s overall performance, enhancing the quality of teaching and research, and approving ongoing and future development projects.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Jamil Ahmed said that Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was making steady progress in science and research, adding that all possible steps would be taken to provide improved facilities for students and faculty members in the coming years.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Syndicate members expressed satisfaction with the performance of the university administration and recommended further measures to promote academic growth and institutional development.

The meeting was attended by Justice (retd) Irshad Qaiser, Professor Sher Afzal, Professor Anwar Hussain, Dr Hidayatullah (Higher Education Commission, Islamabad), Principal Postgraduate College Mardan, Javed Iqbal (Additional Secretary Higher Education, Peshawar), Abdul Ahad (Deputy Secretary Establishment, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Dr Faridullah, Professor Taskin Ali Shah, Masood Ahmed Jan (Deputy Secretary Finance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Dr Sohail, Abrar Hussain (Registrar), Hassan Khan, Dr Faizan Malik, Abdul Samad Khan, and other Syndicate members.
