PESHAWAR: Edwardes College Peshawar has been recognised for its contribution to community health after collecting 75 blood bags during a recent donation campaign.
Awards from the Hamza Foundation were presented to Principal Prof. Shujat Ali Khan and Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah Muhammad Zai, Incharge of the college’s Blood Donor Society, for their role in organising and supporting the initiative.
According to organisers, the blood donation drive was conducted under the supervision of the college administration and faculty, with active participation from students.
The collection of 75 blood bags was described as a significant contribution toward addressing critical healthcare needs in the region.
Officials said the recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and the promotion of voluntary blood donation among young people.
