ATTOCK: The City School Attock Campus hosted its annual Open Day titled “Little Minds, Big Discoveries,” offering students an interactive platform to showcase creativity, confidence, and hands-on learning through a wide range of academic and co-curricular projects.
The campus was transformed into a dynamic learning space where students presented practical projects spanning science, technology, engineering, and humanities. Through models and live demonstrations, they explained real-life concepts such as the human digestive and respiratory systems, highlighting the importance of health, nutrition, and everyday science.

Visitors explored multiple themed learning zones, including Fruitland Landia, Magic Garden, Space Exploration, Marine Life, Safari Jungle, Winterland, Desert Life, and the Progression of the Wheel. Dressed in creative costumes, students confidently explained concepts, reflecting both subject understanding and presentation skills. The Robo Learning Hub and Explorer Club featured robotics, scientific inventions, and innovative ideas, while literary characters were brought to life through storytelling and short theatrical performances.
Environmental sustainability and renewable energy emerged as key themes of the event. Students displayed working models of water filtration and irrigation systems, solar and wind energy solutions, and biogas plants, along with experiments such as potato-generated electricity. Engineering concepts were demonstrated through hydraulic bridges, cranes, robotic arms, and smart city models designed to address real-world urban challenges.
The Open Day was attended by education officials, parents, and invited guests, who praised the quality of student work, confidence in presentations, and overall academic standards of the institution.
Speaking at the event, Headmistress Sahar Qasim said the Open Day was designed to help students apply classroom learning to practical problem-solving while fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. She added that the initiative also strengthens the partnership between parents and the school.
The event reflected the campus’s focus on experiential learning and its commitment to preparing students with the skills and knowledge needed for future academic and professional challenges.
