Timergara: The Medical Superintendent of the District Headquarter/Teaching Hospital Timergara, Dr. Bakht Zada Akhunzada, conducted a detailed visit to the ENT ward, the hospital mosque, and the oxygen plant on Saturday.
During the visit, the Medical Superintendent reviewed staff attendance in the ENT ward, met with patients, and inspected the medical facilities being provided. He issued strict instructions to the ward staff, stating that no negligence in patient care would be tolerated and that all personnel must perform their professional duties with honesty and dedication.
Medical Superintendent Inspects Hospital Mosque
Following the ward inspection, the Medical Superintendent visited the hospital mosque and directed the concerned engineer and contractor to begin construction work at the earliest. He said the project should be completed promptly so that hospital staff and attendants of patients can be provided with adequate and spacious prayer facilities.
Oxygen Plant Inspection and Completion Timeline
The Medical Superintendent later inspected the hospital’s oxygen plant, where the contractor briefed him on the progress of the project and stated that the work had entered its final stages. The contractor assured that the oxygen plant would be completed and handed over to the hospital administration soon.
Once operational, the oxygen plant is expected to restore a regular and uninterrupted oxygen supply to the hospital.
Instructions to Ensure Uninterrupted Oxygen Supply
It was noted that on the special instructions of the Medical Superintendent, issues related to the oxygen plant transformer had been resolved earlier, following which the contractor was summoned for inspection. During the visit, the Medical Superintendent directed the contractor to complete the remaining work without delay and ensure the oxygen plant becomes fully operational at the earliest to guarantee uninterrupted oxygen supply to patients.
