Jan 19, 2026: A contingent of the Pakistan Air Force, comprising F-16 Block-52 fighter jets along with air and ground crew, has reached the King Abdulaziz Air Base to take part in the multinational Exercise Spears of Victory-2026.
The exercise brings together air forces from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, France, Italy, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Kingdom and the United States, providing a platform for joint training in complex aerial warfare operations.

According to defence officials, the exercise is designed to enhance interoperability and mutual understanding, with an emphasis on large force employment, night-time composite missions, integrated ISR operations and combat in advanced electronic warfare environments.
For the international mission, PAF fighter aircraft undertook a non-stop sortie from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, underscoring the air force’s expeditionary reach and operational preparedness. During the drills, PAF pilots will operate advanced F-16 Block-52 aircraft featuring modern avionics and beyond-visual-range capabilities against a diverse range of combat aircraft fielded by participating nations.
Officials said participation in Exercise Spears of Victory-2026 highlights Pakistan Air Force’s professional standards and its ability to operate alongside leading contemporary air forces in demanding and diverse operational settings.
