RAWALPINDI — The Pakistan Army and Indonesian Army concluded their joint military exercise Shaheen Strike-II, held from November 8 to 19, 2025. The exercise focused on counter-terrorism operations, with combat teams from both countries participating in intensive training.
Closing Ceremony and Representation
The exercise formally ended on November 18 with a closing ceremony attended by a senior General Officer from Pakistan as Chief Guest. Senior military officials represented the Indonesian side, marking the conclusion of nearly two weeks of joint drills.
Training Objectives Achieved Through Shaheen Strike-II
According to officials, all training objectives were successfully met. The exercise emphasized refining drills, procedures, and techniques for counter-terrorism operations, particularly in built-up areas and measures against improvised explosive devices.
Strengthening Bilateral Military Cooperation
Troops from both nations demonstrated operational discipline and professionalism throughout the exercise. Shaheen Strike-II was seen as a step toward enhancing military-to-military cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia, reinforcing longstanding defense ties.
