ISLAMABAD (Feb 13, 2026): The Pakistan Navy’s newly inducted ship, PNS Khaibar, participated in the PN-TN bilateral Exercise Turgutreis-XIII during its maiden deployment from Türkiye.
According to naval officials, the ship called at Aksaz Naval Base, where engagements were held with senior commanders of the Turkish Naval Forces to discuss cooperation and regional maritime stability.
The exercise involved joint sea operations with Turkish naval ship TCG Heybeliada and an SH-70 helicopter. Activities included coordinated maneuvers and tactical drills aimed at enhancing maritime interoperability.
Upon conclusion of the drills, both navies conducted a Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
Officials said the participation underscores ongoing collaboration between Pakistan and Türkiye in the maritime domain.
