ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Red Crescent Society organised a blood donation drive at the Embassy of Türkiye in Islamabad in collaboration with Turkish Red Crescent, reinforcing ongoing humanitarian cooperation between the two organisations.
Diplomats and embassy staff, including Dr Irfan Neziroğlu, participated in the drive and donated blood. Officials said the initiative was aimed at supporting patients in need and encouraging voluntary blood donation.
The event was attended by Farzhana Naek and Beyza Taner, along with officials from both sides, reflecting continued collaboration between the two national societies.
Participants highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing humanitarian challenges and ensuring the availability of safe blood supplies. Organisers said such initiatives help strengthen community support systems and promote awareness about lifesaving practices.
PRCS officials reiterated their commitment to expanding outreach efforts and building partnerships to improve access to blood donation services across the country.
