TIMERGARA: On the directives of the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, a spring tree plantation campaign was launched at the District Courts of Lower Dir on Sunday. The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and support the Clean and Green Pakistan drive.
District & Sessions Judge Shakirullah Khan, Senior Civil Judge (Admin) Aamir Ali Afridi, the President of the District Bar, senior lawyers, the District Forest Officer, and representatives of judicial employees joined an awareness walk held to mark the occasion.
Judge Shakirullah Khan thanked the Forest Department for its cooperation and underscored the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and environmental pollution. He also directed court employees to actively participate in the campaign.
Senior Civil Judge Aamir Ali Afridi urged judicial staff to play their role in advancing the Clean and Green Pakistan initiative. Judge Shakirullah Khan further instructed COC Muhammad Hayatullah to ensure plantation across the court premises, bachelor hostel, and official residences.
The event concluded with a collective prayer for the dignity of the judiciary and the prosperity of the nation.
