LOWER DIR: The annual conference of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Academy Khyber Pakhtunkhwa concluded in Timergara, bringing together scholars, academy members, and admirers of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The event was hosted at Qazi Plaza, Gurguri Chowk, and attended by members from across the province. Director of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Academy Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mufti Mohsin Mahmood Mubarakzai, was the special guest. Other attendees included Mufti Saeed-ur-Rehman of Madrasa Khulafa Rashidin, Rehabilitation Officer Muhammad Nisar Khan, and Academy Patron Qazi Khaliq-ur-Rehman.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat Mehfil featuring 20 reciters under the supervision of renowned Naat Khawan Saad Mahmood Saadi. Stage management was handled by Qari Rumman Ahmed and Sikandar Islam. The conference hall was decorated with flowers and lighting ahead of the event.
Shields and medals were distributed among academy members, including those who completed a three-year religious studies course and those recognized for outstanding performance. Academy Patron Qazi Khaliq-ur-Rehman was also honored with a traditional turban by Mufti Mubarakzai.
Addressing the gathering, Mufti Mubarakzai said that belief in the finality of prophethood is central to all fields of religion and must be protected with dedication and sacrifice. The conference concluded with a closing prayer led by Mufti Mubarakzai.
